Avatar - Show Those Arms, Twinkle Toes!
Inhale. Keep your breathing steady. Hold the air in your lungs, maintain a calm mind. Listen to the sounds around you. Then exhale, expelling your negative emotions. Repeat the cycle again. Aang was as silent and unmoving as a statue, sat on the ground in his meditative stance. His arms were held perfectly horizontal. Both of his legs crossed. As an airbender, meditation was a way of life. The nomads of old would sit for hours on end like this, attaining an inner peace that few could achieve. Even Aang had difficulty sometimes. However, as the Avatar, he was plenty experienced in the sacred art. Not that he liked it that particularly, mind you. Meditating had been a pure hell back in the day. It was mandated for all young airbenders to spend a specific amount of hours per day in meditation, while being watched by the older nomads – very closely. Move just a centimeter, or make the tinniest of sounds, and you could go for a few laps around the courtyard without airbending. Aang
